A Visit from the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences of Lampung University (FISIP UNILA)
On February 25, 2016 the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences of Lampung University (FISIP UNILA) visited Swiss German University (SGU). Twenty representatives from FISIP UNILA were warmly welcomed by the Director of Cooperation, Dr. rer. nat. Maruli Pandjaitan, Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration and Humanities, Prof. Dr. Eric J. Nasution, Fiter Abadi, BA. MBA from the BA study program, the Head of the Comm. and PR Study program Loina L. K. Parangin-angin, M.Si, Badari Sri Utami, SE from the SPQA Department and Yuni Triana Dewi, S.Pd from the Internship Department.
The team of FISIP UNILA is preparing to develop an internship program for their students and the purpose of the visit is for a comparative study of the internship program at SGU.
During the visit, SGU shared some experiences of the internship program which is conducted twice by all SGU students in the 3rd and 6th semester. “From the internship program experiences, our students gain their professionalism and independency. Many companies ask us for the availability of SGU alumni to work at their companies because most of them are very capable. They speak English fluently and learn so fast,” said Ms. Loina.
