Company Visit to PT Pratama Abadi in Alam Sutra
Tangerang, 29th January 2016 – The Faculty of Business Administration and Humanities and Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology of Swiss German University visited PT Pratama Abadi (the manufacturer of NIKE, sport shoes) in Alam Sutra on 29th January 2016. The Faculty of Business Administration and Humanities was represented by Dr. Rachman Sjarief, and Fiter Abadi, MBA and Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology was represented by Dr Gembong Baskoro, Dr. Tanika D. Sofianti. The delegation from Swiss German University was welcomed by Pak Gregorius Jap as the managing director and Pak Mauludfi Eko from PT Pratama Abadi.
During the visit, Pak Gregorius from PT Pratama Abadi delivered presentation about the history of PT Pratama Abadi and the recent improvement in the production line. He also informed of workers competences that they need which is very useful as feedback for curriculum improvement.
The opportunities of cooperation in terms of research, internship program, recruitment program and master program for the employee of PT Pratama Abadi were also discussed. After the meeting, the SGU delegation had the opportunity to visit the factory to see how the company manufacturing process.
